Web Order Policies


How does your shipping work?
We use USPS mail.  Orders are packaged and shipped within 48 hours.  You will receive email shipment notifications. 


Embroidery Services


How do I submit my logo for a quote?
Just send an email to serendipitystitch@gmail.com, and attach a jpg, pdf, or eps file.  Please include the approximate size of the logo, and what you want to put your logo on (shirts, jacket, hat, etc).  Also, please provide a best guess for the quantity of items to be embroidered. 




Do you have a minimum order requirement?
We do not have a minimum quantity order requirement.  However, we do have a minimum order amount of $50.

Is there an artwork fee?
Yes, a minimum of $50.

What is the turnaround time for orders?
Once the artwork is obtained and final approval of your order is complete, the turnaround time is 2 weeks.  

I already own the embroidery design, what is the file format your machine requires?
It must be a DST file.


Longarm Quilting


Do you offer custom free-motion work?
No we do not.  In order to keep of with the demand of quilting requests, we perform digital edge-to-edge quilting only.  Upon request, we can do separate border designs. 

What is the turnaround time for orders?
You will be given a date to drop off or mail in your quilt.  Your Quilt will be completed and returned within 2 weeks upon receipt of your Quilt.

I've never mailed a quilt to a Longarm Quilter, how does it work?
It's so simple! You will be give a quilt date.  Once you have the date, you may mail your quilt to us anytime prior to that date.  We recommend USPS Priority Mail with free tracking. Once we receive your quilt,you will be notified that your quilt arrived safety.  While your quilt is in our care, it is placed in it's own new sealed plastic bag and hung on a our clothing rack in the studio to be kept safe.  Our studio is smoke an pet free.  Once your quilt is ready to be quilted, you will be notified it was loaded for quilting.  Upon completion, your quilt will be neatly folded, and safely tucked back into it's sealed plastic back and shipped back to you via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking.   You will receive a tracking number from us so you can track your package.  Our clients love this easy, simple, convenient process!

Do you charge for thread?
No.  There are NO extra fee's for the quilting.  We have add-on services like binding services, or any sewing services needed (i.e. piecing a backing)

Do you have wide quilt backing?
Yes, we offer a selection of wide backing on our SHOP page.  You are welcome to select one of the backings we have on the site and we will put that fabric aside for your quilt. 

I have my own batting, would you use my batting if I send it along with my quilt?
Absolutely!

I saw a great quilt design on Pinterest I want to use on my quilt, I don't see it on your designs page. How can I get this design?
We LOVE new designs! If you find something on another site, that we may not have listed, please send us an image.  If the image is a digital design, we would gladly download the design for your quilt. There are many quality digital design makers out there.  Too many to list, however, one of our favorites is urbanelementz.com. Feel free to look through their designs if you can not find what you are looking for on our site.

What type of quilting thread to you use?
We love Glide, by Superior Threads!  It a trilobal polyester thread that is super strong, with low lint.  It's simply melts into your quilt!  It comes in SO many colors making it easy to find the prefect thread color to match your quilt.
